Dr. Turner's primary interest is to ensure the comfort and safety of your
child. We encourage a proactive approach to dental care and believe that
preventive care can result in more effective, less costly, and less traumatic
dental treatment for your child. Since we specialize in children, our office
and staff is specially designed for their age-appropriate needs.
What is a Pediatric Dentist?
Pediatric dentists, or "Pedodontists", specialize in dentistry that is devoted
exclusively to children. It requires additional years of training in a pediatric
residency beyond general dentistry. Pedodontists are trained specifically in
growth and development, child psychology, medical complications, treatment of
children with special needs, and orthodontic treatment.
